A New Year

1/1/2019

First off, I want to say to all of my customers, I could not have done this without you.  Seriously.  I know it's cliche to say, but it's true.  This website would not have grown into what it is, or myself as an artist, without the continual customer support and great emails I receive about people who are enjoying my art.  I have been sent pictures of my art displayed in people's homes, and that just blows my mind.  Someone wants to display something that I created?  Amazing.

I hope everyone had a great new years, and wrote resolutions that are actually attainable.  I for one have decided to refocus my entire business. I have been buying and selling Breyers since 2001, and I love it.  However, I am going to start thinning down that part of the business.  2018 was my best year yet for selling, but it took away from time I wanted to spend with my kids and on my art.  I have a few new projects I want to finish for 2019, and hand in hand with finishing those is cleaning off and selling most of my shelving units that hold the Breyers and plastic ponies.  With that in mind, be sure to check in pretty regularly, as I have shelves, trunks and boxes of horses I'd like to have cleaned out by July.  Whatever is still here will be sold at Breyerfest in the room sales.  Will I be done selling Breyers forever?  I doubt it. I'm sure there will always be some on here, but the days  of having 500+ for sale at any given time are coming to an end.   I need to loose a few pounds this year, but my studio needs a major diet and face lift.

I have every plan to continue to glaze, and am even attempting to learn over glazing.  I am so excited to see how 2019 goes.

Again, I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for their support in my business this past year.  My personal life has some crashing down around me, but the hobby community - as it has many many times in the past - has given me hope and encouragement.  I hope I can offer the same to others this coming year.

Enjoy the random goat picture :)  (Cupcake and Sprinkles)
